Cleethorpes Beach and Promenade
Cleethorpes has a sandy beach and has been awarded the Blue Flag. As Cleethorpes promenade is flat it is particularly friendly for prams and wheelchair users.

Full details and locations of special facilities can be found at Cleethorpes TIC. Cleethorpes has recently opened superb new changing facilities located at the boating lake.
Dogs are welcome
Dogs are allowed on the beach from the Leisure Centre to Pleasure Island but the area from the Leisure Centre to Wonderland is a dog free zone from Easter to October.
Several restaurants in Cleethorpes are dog friendly and allow dogs in the restaurant whilst you eat. They provide dog treats for sale and water bowls outside.
The Humberston Country Park even has a special area for dogs to swim in the lake safely off the lead.
Cleethorpes and Grimsby have several superb garden centres. Most have lovely restaurants and gift shops.
Family friendly
You will never have a dull moment at Cleethorpes. There is so much to do for all ages (even when it is raining). “One week is never enough”.

Seaview Equestrian Centre
Try horseback riding along Cleethorpes golden beach – feel the wind through your hair! There is nothing quite like it. Even if you have never been on a horse or pony before you will have a fabulous time. All levels of riding ability are catered for. All equipment supplied, but wear long trousers and don’t wear flip flops! Rides can be half and hour, an hour or longer.
